Whats a min. temp. for adding salt. I have a 47 gal tank with a secondary return filter tank. I bought a 30-60 gal heater and its taking forever to heat up the tank the heater is almost cranked to full. I gonna buy a better one soon. The tank is at 69.5 is that good enough to add the salt. Im concernerd because my live rock goes in tuesday. And the salt has to be in for 24 hrs....
Thanks

is this for a new tank setup,
if so just add the salt and a powerhead for circulation as 70 degrees is enough for the water to take in the salt. just give it time.

I agree adding the pumps now will also give you the opurtunity to change things before they are to permanant. plus it will oxygenate the water and salt so when you add the LR you can have a better chance of more surviving
