When i started my 55 gal. 9 months ago i put in 1 bag of live sand and about 1 inch of crushed coral. From what i hear i need more of a sand bed. Whats the best to use...sand or crushed coral? How deep should it be? And how do i add it?

i have been learning on here too and finally glad i can possibly answer your queston! get rid of the cc use southdown if you want to seed it with ls and then put the ls on top. when i get mine set up i am going to do 1/2 & 1/2 to make a 3" sb in a 125 tank. hth
