adequate lighting

Hello everyone,
We having been reading these posts for about 2 months now and we have learned so much from all of you, we have a 55 gal with a 50/50 light , we plan on getting a new hood that holds 4 bulbs and doing 2 50/50's and 2 actinics. Our lfs just moved their store to a location down the street, but they sold all their livestock for 50% off, sooo.... we bought 2 clarki clowns and 2 anenome's , one green carpet and one sebae. The owner of the lfs said that the light we had would be ok for now to sustain the anenome's. NOW, i know how most of you feel about how hard anenome's are to keep, but what I want to know if this lighting is ok for a couple of weeks (tax return) or do we need to run down and buy more lighting? oh all of our parameters are perfect, and everything is thriving so far. Thanks in advance for all your advise.

What is the wattage of the 50/50 bulb you have now? More than likely you need to go buy lights now. Your anemones won't live with low light.

sorry, forgot to put how long tank has been set up. It was a fresh water with african cichlids for 3 years and has been salt water for about 2 months. we have a 400 and 280 emperor for filtration and crushed coral and about 60 lbs of live rock ( which we are still adding too) the tank cycled in 2 weeks. our lfs has been awesome so far and we have been trying to take things slow. we also have a clean up crew of 20 blue legs, 20 red legs, 25 turbo snails. thanks again

boy we are bad at this, not giving you enough info, the 50/50 is a 40 w 6000k, and we just added (because we are nervous) a 15 watt in a old hood from a smaller tank over the anenome's. I do not want these anenome's to die, please help!

You need more ligh asap. I would recommend either you use a vho kit with 4 110w bulbs. or a dual 175w mh kit with a pair of vho for actinic lighting.
