Advance VHO ballast

I picked up a new Advance VHO ballast on a REALLY good deal yesterday. After doing some research on the web I found out it is a 1500 MA ballast for two 48" T-12 110 watt VHO's, BUT the bad part is its rated at 277 volt input instead of 120 volt input. I dont suppose anyone here knows of a way to make it work?

8 total. Black and white for the hot. Two yellows on the same end, grounds I think. Then two red and two blue on the opposite end, for positive.
Heres a link for the ballast. It also has a wiring diagram in the same page, #21 I believe. Its model VC-2S102-TP. Thanks for any help in advance!

Well, I'm afraid you're outta luck  I was hoping you had a transformer that, depending on which wires you used, could be wired for any of the "normal" voltages available. Unfortunately after I looked up the wiring diagram and read more about the ballast it appears that Advance Ballasts beginning with the letter "V" are only rated at 277 volts. Might explain why you got such a good price.
Sorry, remember, I'm just the messenger and lord knows I've been wrong before but ...
Good Luck,
Paul

I came to the same conclusion after reading that page. I was hoping there was a way around it. Free was a good price though. I couldnt pass it up.
