adventurous hermit crab

this hermit crab of mine likes to climb straight up the corner of my tank. i haven't seen this on the boards yet so i'm posting a picture. maybe it's a common thing? when it gets about halfway up, it starts slowing down and eventually just falls off. it's so funny to watch.

my crabs do that to get to one of my powerheads. They like to play king of the powerhead. they will fight and thorw each other off.

I've never seen my crabs climb on the glass.

Pretty cool! I have some hermits that climb up the glass using the coraline I haven't scrapped off but they I've never gotten a good picture of them that high up... Nice picture!

My hermits all climb the one corner of the tank and sleep there during the night. The next morning when the lights come on they all just drop to the sand and start running aroung.

I used to have a huge crab (about 4 inches) who would do that to get the algae. I have a picture somewhere, if I find it I'll post it!

my hermits run around all night and then in the day they all gather in the middle of the tank next to the glass like in a huddle. its pretty funny!

I can't find a picture of him climbing the tank, but heres a picture of him at the beginning of the year. He changed shells 1 more time before he died

I wish I could find the pic of his last shell next to his first, but once again I have too many pics to look through to find it.
