See, we have a 2 bedroom apt though, so not much room for anything bigger than 20 gal, maybe a 55, like longways, but thats pretty heavy for the second floor and these apartments were built in the 60s, we had to change apartments because our ceiling started leaking pretty bad in the same complex

I think that may have been directed at me...
I was "stretching" the truth a bit, trying to make a point and the Boys may have taken me too litterally...
I didn't want you to go "too cheap" and was implying you could spend $500 on a skimmer or Lights or Calcium reactor or Chiller and/or all of the above..
That or we got a cop on board that hasn't filled his "quota" yet and just looking for some one to "bust"...:D

I don't have a quota. My chief says I can tank all the people to jail I want!

I was merely pointing out that coming into $80,000 out of nowhere is very rare indeed. SOME of the people I run into who have suddenly come into large amounts of cash end up getting caught....LOL
FWIW, I say spend the $500 on the Mrs. too and then GO BIG on the dream tank in January! Congrats and enjoy!

Take about half of the money and use it towards the down payment on a new house. Have the builder add a tank room for say a 500g tank and get the tank rolled up into your

. Instant reef financing!
