what makes them not reef safe? i have 1 in my reef tank, and it has never bothered anything. what should i be looking out for?

It is not reef safe because it can and will consume snails, clams, scallops, corals and other things that you may not want it to eat. An omnivore, it may consume some algae, but it takes a wide variety of meaty foods as well, and should be spot fed.
