I am finally back into the hobby....my wife gave me the ok to splurge yesterday!!!! I am going smaller then I had before but am thrilled with my 60 gallon cube purchase.

So....boy how things have changed in 10 years. Need some help with my initial setup. I will add a picture in a moment. I know these holes are meant for siphoning protection but they are filling my tank with micro bubbles. How do I fix?

That looks like a marinland reef ready tank. I tied a piece of pantyhose around the hole. It still allows the siphon break but I don’t get as much noise or mess.

Yes it is a marineland reef ready tank....good advice!!!!
