AGA Mega Flow Sump

Ok. I justed got into the saltwater fish hobby. I have a 90 gallon AGA reef ready tank and bought the MegaFlow Sump filter Model 3. Its all set up and running. Now my question is about the overflow does the water suppose to fluctuate in the overflow box and is there a way i can stop fluctuating.

It shouldn't fluctuate in the overflow box.......I think there is a mod for the overflow pipe though.

When I came home from work and checked out the salinity the overflow is not fluctuating anymore. The only thing I can think of is that I added the salt mix in the tank before I went to work and calmed everything down when the salt mixed in the tank

Mine did the same thing when I 1st setup the 210, only thing i could think of was air in the lines but not sure? Mine went to normal after a day also.
