I have a 210gal AGA that I'm setting up and I'm curious, how do you plumb the drain and overflow bulkheads with PVC. It looks like theyre set up for tubing, but I know Ive seen people on here do it with pvc.
Thanks,Shawn
Okay here is what my brother and I did. We got tubing to fit around the bulkhead coming out of the tank and put a pvc coupler onthe other side and use pipe clamps to hold it together. We then used pvc plumbing from that point on.
Good luck and have fun with your new tank. :cheer:

I was thinking of going this route, but I figured theres gotta be a way to hard plumb it.
Anyone else????
I just bought the kit myself and like it a lot. It was very easy to install. It was also very easy for me to plumb, I just used clear tubing to plumb the whole thing. I like the way I ended up with large sweeping curves as opposed to sharp 90degree PVC fitting. Also, the clear tubing will allow me to see any clogs or other problems with the plumbing. Here is how I plumed my sump.
Just curious acrylic51, why don’t you like the design of the bulkheads?

Can I still use the standpipes they come with or will I need to make my own. I'm trying to remember (as I'm at work now) I think the opening to the bulhead is 1.5".
