Agae Sheets

I bought a suction cup clip to hang algae sheets for my new Coral Beauty and that stupid thing keeps falling and shoving the algae sheets into the sand.
Is there a better way to do this?

Rubberband the algae to a small rock maybe?

Some suction cups just suck IMO.....Make sure the spot your attaching the holder to is clean.. I usually take my hand and rub the inside of the glass a bit, and have had luck doing that and I've also taken those cheapo suction cups and soaked them a bit in hot water to make them more pliable to mak them stick better

Mine seem to prefer the clip lying on the sand.
