AGGRAVATING NEW PRIVATE MESSAGE POP UP

Today's newest aggravation with this site is the pop up notification for PMs.
I get this pop up everytime I hit "New Posts". I do not have any new PMs;
I've been patient with all the other problems, this one is about to put me over the edge.
I have quit the site, quit the browser, cleared cookies, done all I know to do on my end. The problem is on YOUR end.
Here is my browser info:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090707 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Here is what I see with every "New Post" -note to the right that I do NOT have new messages.

Please bear with everything.....I know it is annoying (YUP I DO) BUT they are trying to fix things

I had this issue a few days ago, once I got a pm..No matter how many times I read it, I kept getting a message that I had a message...So I just hit cancel every time. It corrected itself about the 10th time.
So Huddler is the name of our enemy behind the scenes, the creator of our nightmares. The changer of our beloved forum, the one to curse and poke litte needles in a doll at. I shall remember the name.
