I'm sorry you confused that with support, it certainly was not.
More of ridicule. But keep up the good work. Again,
Great, more sarcastic and argumentative people. Sweet.

I forgot about Whitey's tendencies... was wondering why some random was giving me a hard time.
Anyway, Debbie, IMO a dwarf lion is ok in that tank but I do understand AW2's concern. Even if it were to live out it's full lifespan and get to 6", dwarf lions do not need the swimming room that other fish need. They are pretty inactive. JMO.

I hear people say that, all the time, about all species of Lions.
Every single Lion that I've ever had has been active...my 2" Fuzzy all the way up to my 15" Volitan. None of them were the inactive fish that people talk about.
My friends, that have Lions (Dwarf or full sized), are active as well.
I think if you were to put a Trigger in that tank, if wouldnt be very active either...it'd have no place to go. If Lions are given ample space, they are certainly an active fish. I think the reason they're touted as "not very active" is because people place them into small tanks and they dont have the option of moving around much.

lions are noctural predetors so during the day you may see less activity but once the lights go off they do roam the tanks.you might want to check on some smaller species of agressive fish not only damsels are concidered to be a small aggresive species dotty backs(pseudochromis) some of your reef safe wrasses just to name a couple different families.they dont have to big to be concidered agressive check fishindex.com or fishbase.org check minimum tank requirments before purchasing any fish do not depend on your fish supplier no matter how you may trust them to be accuarate or honest about it .do your homework and you should end up with the right combination for you and your tank size.

.

You're a moron. My posts were in response to insults made by Crimzy. Crimzy was making insulting comments, and I simply responded to them. So before you go acting like a fool how about you get the facts straight first.
I hijacked nothing, you're the one that constantly takes threads off course.

I haven't had the same experiences... I've had lions that liked to swim and I've had lions that were happy sitting on the same rock all day every day until food arrived. You have to admit that a trigger, tang, angel, butterfly, etc. needs more swimming room than a lion to stay healthy. I do think a dwarf is fine in a 30" 25 gallon.

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions, greatly appreciated.....

I think that we should now let this post just be, I received some great opinions and appreciate it very much. But I don't like when people get off track and start name calling.
So thanks all and have a nice day......... :cheer:
Deb..... :joy:

If you have more questions, then by all means....please ask.
Dont let one person ruin a thread, especially if there is more you want to know.
Ask and ye shall recieve, Debbie.

Debbie,
I think a 25gal should work out good for a agressive tank (i dont mean work out awesome, i mean you can get agressive fish into the tank). Everyone was talking about fuzzy dwarf lion i however dont think a fuzzy is suitable for that tank BUT did anyone say Fu Manchu Lion? I definitly think a fu manchu lion can work easily in that tank. Dont like lions? No problem, anglers are awesome! Throw in a angler (make sure you know what kind) and some damsels and there ya go! Whatch the action happen just like that!
* I wont tell you what the action is.....let it be a surprise
