Definitely. Hermits will kill snails for thier shells, other hermits, and some hermits will even kill fish if they are a predatory type of hermit (such as the fuzzies).

sorry to pull this thread up but my hermits have been killing some of my turbos lately. Do I just get rid of them or what. They are fuzzies but I have no idea what kind they are.

I hate the red hermits, those suckers eat everything in their way. IMO, keep the snails and get rid of the bigger crabs. Go with the dwarfs hermits, blue legs and such.

Yeah I am going to get rid of these guys. i picked them up in the keyes over the summer. :scared:
But they eat snails so I guess I will give to my friend's fowlr tank. When I go back to the keyes i will just get a lot of snails and Blue legs. They have tons of crabs and snails there that you can find on any fish website. They have Blue legs, bumblebees and some others.
