Aggressive sixline wrasse

I've been looking at my tank and my sixline keeps attacking my clown (not sure if percula or false perc) he goes up to we're he swims the power head and pick at him violently. Also the clown is rather small I think maybe 1 inch.

That's a common occurrence with sixlines...they tend to get nasty.

Well he doesn't bother my other much more peaceful fish my firefish and my 2 blue green chromic.

Six lines are the devil of saltwater fish as far as I'm concerned. Once he kills the clown, and he will if he's given a chance to, he'll move on to his next victim.

So should I get rid of him...maybe another type or wrasse like the flasher wrasse the one with the long top fin.

It depends on how much you like the fish...I'm betting it won't tolerate any new additions to your tank, so unless you're done stocking it, you'll likely have troubles. The sixline won't change.

I was planning on add 2 or 3 more fish to the tank another firefish (so I can have a pair) and the same for the clown and probably a flame angel or elibi angel.

And if I did get the angel would they fight I know angel are semi agressive to.and what about other wrasses?

You are likely to have aggression issues with any new fish added to the tank, especially a firefish or another wrasse.

Well that sucks I think I'm going to get rid of him this weekend but I don't know yet...
