So the clown fish I was having problems with died dispite all efforts to save it.

I liked having a pair so I got another one, I tried to get a smaller one but they are about the same size with the new one slightly smaller.
Needless to say the the first is picking on the new, I know they have to establish dominance, but my concern is if I have two females will one become male at this point or is it too late for that?
I have seen them occasionally look like they kiss and dart off, thats why I think I might have to females.
it did apear that they were sleeping together this morning though.
they are both OS clowns, both tank raised and about 2".

there will be some aggression whether the new addition is male or female, so its hard to say at this point. The fact that they were together this morning is a good sign.. good luck
