Excited at the prospects of Metal Halides I purchased an Orbit system. My week was spent checking the status of my order and like a kid at Christmas, ran to the door to greet my UPS man with my new lights. Wow, that's a big box, probably lots of protective stuff. Upon opening my heart sank- there was just no way this light was fitting on my aquarium- But I tried just so I could have my fears cofirmed. Now what. I have a friend who could help me hang it, but I fear that it may lose effectiveness. I am thinking I should just send it on back- tearfully.
I have a standard 55 Gallon-
What do you think?

The light is 48 inches long, 15 inches wide 4 and some high.
On a different note- saw pics and history of your tank. Pretty nice set-up.

The light fits length-wise, but it is the width that gets me by about four inches, that i would have discovered had I done just a bit more research and a bit less impulse buying.
