i would say add peppermint shrimp, but its not a guarantee tthat they would eat the aiptasia, and they may nibble on your xenia. There are aiptasia eating nudibranches, but I dont know where you can get them. Another way I have seen to eliminate them is to take a good size pinch of aquarium salt, and let it go right in top of the aiptasia. you could also get a syringe and inject it with boiling water or kalk mix. There is also this stuff callled joes juice that people say has worked also. you could do a search on these boards for any of those methods and it should bring up some good threads that will help.

The Kalk thing works, but they will just come back in new places a couple of weeks later. I just bought a peppermint shrimp so I hope that will do the trick.

I bought 3 peppermints about a month hoping that they would do the trick. And yes, they actually pulled through and wiped out the aiptasia population. Lucky first try I guess.

Funny you said that about Joes Juice. Everything was fine for a month and then three more popped out. I'll try the shrimp.

anybody every try injecting them with lemon juice. a guy on a different board told me to do that. i tried it and it worked really good. it was cheap, easy, and didn't do a thing to the levels in my tank.
