I have a few aiptasias in my tank (which I first thought were polyps and was feeding them  ). Anyway, I read that injecting them with lemon juice would kill them, so I tried to buy a syringe, but the

said I needed a prescription to get one. So I tried to use a dropper with lemon juice, and when I did, the thing shriveled up and I thought I killed it, until the next day it was fine again.
Does anyone know any other way to kill them, or where you can get a syringe???
It's attached to the glass, so could I just pull it off???
Thanks for any help

I get my needle and syringes from either a Dog and Horse supply place (many people including myself give their pets vaccinations), or talk to a Veterinarian, they would probably give you one.
If your aiptasia are small you could just get some peppermint shrimp they love to eat them (they will also eat polyps and feather dusters somtimes though)

another thing you can try is "feeding" them Pickling lime and water made into a paste. IF you get a little ball of it, they'll eat it, and shrivel right up.

I've killed a couple of the little beasts in my fuge with pickling lime...the trick seems to be to mix it into a thick paste, just fluid enough to suck some up with a turkey baster, then inject it right into the aiptasia's mouth.
