Aiptasia question

Hi everyone. My tank is just about done cycling. I was wondering how small aiptasia starts out at. I see the tiniest looking thing sticking on a piece of live rock today & looks like aiptasia. I'd take a pic but it would be impossible. It's so small, it's MAYBE the length of the smallest notch on a ruler. Could it be something else? Thanks for any info!

With Live Rock there are a million things it could be, coral, anemone, its amazing what can happen with a tank. Even the guy at my LFS has corals sprouting in his tanks that he says hes never purchased before.

i have alot of rock in my 90 that is 20 yrs old.i still find new things.wonder if the inverts sneak the stuff in?
as the tank matures you will see all kinds of stuff the corals,polyps or what ever just need time and good water and light to start popping out.
