will an aiptasia catch and eat a cleaner shrimp? I just bought one yesterday and now its gone but I did find an antenne right below one of the larger aiptasia.

I'd really doubt that.

check to make sure the shrimp isnt hiding and the antennae you found was molt.

Most likely the shrimp molted and the aptasia caught a piece of the molt. seems like when ever I add a new shrimp to a tank they molt right away, same thing with a major water change seems to get my shrimps to molt also. If the shrimp molted and is also new to the tank you may not see it for a day or two.

HA!! That sounds familiar. We had ours for 1 day and i looked at the backof the tank and saw what i though was him sucked on the filter!! so i quickly retreived him and though he was DEAD.. Very dissapointing to say the least... Wellthe next day, we found him in the rocks... hahah.
