Aiptasia

Hello everyone. I have just puschased a small zoo colony, and I believe that there are two aiptasia on the peice of rock that the colony came on. My question is can I just remove these off the rock? Also i have not put the rock in my tank yet. Thanks for your time and advice

i would probably attempt to remove them with a tweezer under tank water in a bowl, i would worry about using any of the treatments like joes juice near a coral.
or try the natural treatment of a peppermint shrip or i believe a copperband butterfly. i added one peppermint shrip months ago and never saw another aiptasia. course i never see the peppermint either.

yes the pepermint shrimp is the wat to go i haven t seen 1 since i got mine
