Aiptasia

I tried that already, but to no avail.
As you can see, I started this thread a while back. The shrimp could care less about the aiptasia (fish food must be tastier!). I tried the boiling water... I think by the time I reached the aiptasia with the syringe it had cooled enough to be ineffective.
So the kalk sludge is my last hope in getting rid of it.
When I first posted this thread, I only had one little tuft of it. Now it has multiplied and there are 5-6 tufts. That's pretty quick multiplication! I'm waging war!

The ABSOLUTE COOLEST thing happened after I read your last post. I turned to look @ the tank. A pep stumbled across a small-medium aiptasia and he attacked it like it insulted his mom !!! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool !!! 1 down, about 100 to go

Do a search... I think it was RyeBread who had a pic of some *NASTY* looking aiptasia... maybe Slothy does too? Let me know if you don't find it. I know there are pics out there!
It's actually an anemone... kinda tan/gold... but a real pest, as you can see by reading this thread!
