All I've used are the pepermint shrimp, and it worked well on aptaisia that were as large as a nickle.

I had four of them in my tank and I used a Syringe and injected them with boiling water. Only had to inject one time to each of them. "It works", haven't had anymore problems with them

With an aptasia of that size, i would try injecting it, either with hot water (which worked for me) or kalkwasser.

i use pickeling lime got it online like 1.00 a bag and you only use 2 teaspoons of that and hot water it has worked great for me. got the idea off another sight if you want it email me and ill send you the info..

Toddpolish, I had one alot bigger than your pic, just stuck him with about 3 mil of boiling water and that was the end of him. The others I had were about half that size.
Just would like to also pass on that I was in a lfs and they have a 55 gal reef tank. Well I noticed about five or six aptasias. About three weeks later went back in and I could not believe it. The tank was totaly full of them. Keep a close eye when you kill em, I read they put of offspring nearby.
