Aiptisia

I have 1 big aiptisia that I have to kill and it is in the middle of my Zoos. I know that I can buy joe's juice or buy a Peppermint shrimp but is there another way i can kill it? There is just 1 in the whole tank.

I just got some stuff from first medic? It's basically a paste you squirt on their mouth, really thick and white and they just die. I had the same problem with aptasia in the zoas, now they are all dead

Can I use Ionic B the calcium part and inject it in?

It may work, but I'd just go for something designed/proven to kill them. I've never tried what you're saying.

i have used a syringe before and regular calcium.AS long as you inject them with it and dont miss their dead the sec you inject them.happy huntin!

i put 2 peppermint shrimp in my 210 and have not seen any apt since!

If you want a very good working generic way....put some water into a pan and bring to a boil. pull the boiling water into a syringe and stick it into the aiptasia and pull the trigger! you know you've done it in when you see a clear looking (like, excuse this, snot) coming from the crevice it was in. I use a fairly large syringe and after I fill it up I usually unload the whole syringe into the crevice. Once you touch it (with anything) it will immediately withdraw back into its hole. I use the big syringe and just keep pouring it into the hole. This works very well, and costs 0. and is environmentally friendly...

there is some new stuff that I bought called Aiptasia Control. it works great and is reef safe.

That's what I have, it is great as well. The boiling water trick also works.
