AIR SNAKE???????????????????????????

IT LOOKED LIKE A WORM BUT ALMOST LOOKED PLASTIC...SOMEONE SAID THAT IT WAS A "AIR SNAKE" IT MOVED LIKE A SNAKE...AND DUG IT'S WAY INTO THE MUD WHERE THE TIDE WAS COMING IN AT THE OCEAN...AND SOMEONE SAID THAT THE BITE BUT ARE NOT DANGEROUS....JUST WONDERING DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IT IS OR HAVE PICTURES OF ONE....FIRST TIME SEEING ONE....FIRST TIME AT THE OCEAN.......

It is called a blind snake, or a worm snake. They are harmless and won't even bite. They will spend most of their time under the ground.

Look up an apoda. They are blind, legless, burrowing salamanders.
Without a clear picture or the actual specimen, it would be hard to tell at this point.
