Power heads without the air tubes. aim at least one at the surface. I have at least one stuck to the tank about an inch below the water, and directed up. or you can add a hydor rotating defuser ( i think thats the name) I know they are made by hydor. do a search, there is a thread about them .

anyway, i agree. agitating the surface of the water will increase your tank's surface area:volume ratio, increasing gas exchange.

I Only Have Airstones. The Power Head I Have Can Only Be Operated Under The Water It Does Not Have Any Adjustment To Enable You To Point The Nozle Towards The Surface.

I have two of the hydors, they make a nice flow thru the tank. you just attach them to your power head.

Surface movment and a protien skimmer are ideal for oxygen. I would not use bubblers and difusers.
