Admittedly, I wasn't the biggest fan of frags, just sort of an unnatural thing, but couldn't pass up on these guys. Got some cool stuff, added a frag rack to the 90gal, and will watch these guys grow. Might get some more stuff.
War Coral

The original Japanese Deepwater zoas, also called LA Lakers, IIRC

Pair of Acans

Blue-Tipped Pink Goniopora

My favorite piece, Acan Bowerbanki

Burgundy-colored Acan

Acan Echinata

As from as I'm aware, Acan's don't have 'official' commonnames like zoas/palyps do. You basically pay for the color. Those acan's on the left are actually pretty red, with minty blue stripes and medium blue rings.
The little Echinata was actually the cheapest at $10, and the others where between that and $30 I think it was for the Bowerbanki.

Could u post a tank shot. I would like to see how your frag rack is mounted in the tank. Thanks
Lights are out for tonight, but I'll grab a FTS tomorrow. The rack actually is as simple as you could think. A small rectangle of eggcrate with a glass cleaner magnet epoxied to it.

what is that gorgeous spotted fish near the frag tank?
Female Meleagris Leopard wrasse. Had her for over 5 years. She's a lot more green then you'll see looking at other Meleagris females.

Is the magnet coated in anything?
No, it's a ceramic blended with iron oxide. They are safe for reef use. Almost all powerhead impeller magnets are uncoated ceramic magnets as well.

Can you get the magnets at lowes or home depot? I would like a frag rack and want to waste a mag float to do it.
also can you post a website about these magnets or how to tell which are which. Thanks

my LFS guy told me he had bare magnets that came on a frag rack made by eshopps and the magnets coroded (not reef safe)
K&J magnetics makes rubber coated magnets, they seem to be the ones to have to be sure.
you could also purchase any strong magnet and then coat it with epoxy, pretty easy to do and now you have a reef safe magnet.

Enter 185097 on Lowes.com These are what I used, should be available in-store as well. If you want to use these exact magnets, I would suggest getting a couple. With just the one in the center like mine, it's almost at the limit of what it can hold. Could add another set to the other side, and that way, the frag rack would be held on 2 sides of the tank and be quite strong.
