I had an algae bloom in my tank. The protein skimmer is on and the nitrates and nitrites were good before i left for the weekend. According to my room mate it is all over the sand and rock. I am assuming that it is. I had one wipe out everything before in my tank. I powerwashed all of the rock and changed all of the crushed coral to live sand. I am going back home tomorrow and am going to install my uv sterilizer and do a water change. The lights are off on my tank and skimmer is working. Anything else i should do. Also planning on adding a lawnmower blenny when i return.
