over the last month I have been doing 15 gal water changes with ro di water every week. Today I took all my rock work out scrubed with toothbrush,( had a lot of hair alage ). what I want to know is when or about will the alage slow down or stop. seems like since i started using ro di water tank is running better .

I think you need more clean up crew

I think you have a 75gallon
In all Aquariums with light you will get algae you just need the cleaners to do the majority of the work for you. I will give you an example: My tank cycled for 6 months with Live rock and sand and no lights except the normal room lights and no algae. I added my VHO lights and in 3 weeks had major algea boom!
I bought a 160pcs clean up crew (my tank is 260 gallon)and in 4 days its almost all gone.
