algae bloom

I have had my tank for a few months and I can't seem to get rid of the alage. Right now now its mostly green hair alage but I have some slime to. I've tied everything from less light more flow and watching how much I feed. could someone please help its driving me nuts.

What are your phosphate levels and what kind of water are you using?

not sure of levels but I use ro water

First thing would be check the phospate levels they are main cause of algea problems.

Mosy likely in the water you introduce to the tank, RO or not, it can happen. How long do you keep your lights on for?
