Algae growing on Frogspawn?

My Frogspawn doesn’t remain open as long as it used to. The branches of it seems to have algae growing on it. I thought about moving the coral under a ledge to provide shade, hopefully stopping the algae. Anyone else experience this? Have any recommendations?

That could mean 2 things. 1. You must have high phosphates and/or nitrates or 2. the coral is dying and the algea is taking over the weekend polyp.

I have 0 Nitrates, and about .1 - .2 ppm of Phos. I started testing the water from my RO/DI and I had 0. I tested it again after adding the I.O. salt and had a small amount of phos. I want to check this a few more times before I conclude thats the problem. The other branches are doing great but they aren't exposed to all the light that the top branches are.
