Algae on yellow polyps,[on the stalk part]. What to do? Will it kill them? It seems to be stunting growth. Will halide lights help.

I also had that problem. When I introduced 2 emerald crabs to my tank that was the first place they ran to. Not only did they leave the polyps alone, but cleaned the rock they are on completely

Hi,I'm new to your chat. But I need to agree with every one elese. My success is a wave maker,this helps keep alge from forming. It seems (with some expetimenting with flows) to help coral growth.I have yellow and brown polyps, a very large colony of green striped mushroons (reproducing),and a large elegence coral. good luck!
