algae problem

i got my t-5 lightin about 3 weeks ago and since i got it ive had a great bloom of algae on my rocks its brown and is growin like crazy even on my glass all over even in the front also on my power head there is no bloom of algae in my fuge not even a little its really clean down there.... i wipe the glass off all over and the next day algae all over again, what can i do about this i just did a 10 gallon water change on sunday... i have a 70 gallon tank and a 20 gallon fuge

I'm certainly no expert, but since it's brown it could be cyano. Lots of threads here on how to deal with it. Do a search & good luck with what ever it is.
