ALGAE

i have alot of brown algae starting to develop. is this bad? should i scrape it off? when will i get green algae. ive had 2 clowns for about a week now and 30 pounds of live rock for over a month.

The brown algea is normal. Nothing to be worried about. You don't need to scrape it off, it will go away by itself eventually. I don't think anyone can give you a time as to when you will get the green algae since all tanks are different. Out of curiosity how long has the tank been up?

I heard that brown algea can come from your water. What type of water do you use tap. I use tap for the moment and I keep getting it all over my tank. I use a scrapper or I'm thinking of getting the magnett. I read that it works great too.
