Algae ???

I have a little "green hair algae" on a couple of rocks - doesn't seem to be spreading - Lawnmower Blenny not touching the longer stuff. Can I brush it off the rocks with a toothbrush or something? Will it grow somewhere else if it settles after I brush it off?

Pull it out, it won't spread that way. Yes it will grow where it settles.

get a emerald crab or turbo snail if you dont have either yet. They will knock it out for you.

I have turbos, I put them on the same rock & they mow perfectly around the hair algae

That is odd. Mine mow it down. Try an emerald crab. They love that stuff.

Emerald crab safe with porcelain crab & 3 shrimp - ps, clnr, fire. Also snails & hermits

Emeralds are one of the safer reef crabs out there. Many many people have them for coral tanks and other tanks.

would a would a lettuce Nuddibranch also work? Any pros or cons with them? Thanks
