algea outbreaks after water changes....why?

Why do I always get an algea outbreak everytime I change the water? Shouldnt it be the opposite? This always happens the first few days after I change the water, then it slowly goes away. It's been driving me crazy!!

If you have a TDS(total disolved solids) meter check the RO water it should be 0.
Do you have your own RO unit or are you buying the water from a LFS or walmart/grocery store?
How old are the filters on the Ro unit? They might need to be changed
Also test your new saltwater for nitrates and phoshates. If you don't have a phoshate test kit take it to the LFS and have them run tests.

Yeah, also be sure you're testing the mixed saltwater that hasn't been put in the tank yet. Test the RO water before mixing. Test the tank water too.
