Hey there...
That's a pretty cool slide show. I've got two or three kinds of that algae growing on my lr. The maroon and purple for sure... and I think there are a few patches of byropsis algae. I've been calling it "green hair" algae because it looks like little tufts of hair. It's no longer than a centimeter for sure, but definite strands can be seen, so I don't think it's the green turf stuff.
So, is the algae I have good or bad? THAT, my friends is the question! <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

thats what the bubble algae thing was

I did some further research on the algae (maroon and purple corraline) that I have and found out that they are really good stuff! They are the precursor organisms that help put together a coral reef. So, it looks like I'm doin' pretty good in there. Thanks again for the slide show!
