i have some spots of algea on my glass that are like a bright green what type is it and is that good algea or bad like diatom algea....

I’m not an algae expert, but if its bright green or neon green, its not diatoms. Diatomic algae is brown and looks like fuzz when it builds up after a while. Bright green, neon green algae are I think either coralline algae or some other type of macro algae, which if that is the case, it’s good!
