Alk is unexplainably high

Hello all, I need to post this again. My Alk is unexplainably high and I can't figure out why. I don't add anything, and I do 20% water changes every 2 wks. All of my other levels are fine. I can't give them to you cause I am at work and I don't have them. The only thing is that my cal is a little low, like 380. Other than that, I don't know how to solve this problem. Is there anything I can do to lower my alk.?
Please help....

alk should go down over time by the removal by corals. i would just add calcium in the meantime. also check the alk of your tap water.

Are you adding any additives at all other than water changes? What kind of salt are you using ? Are you using well water?

I am not adding any additives at all. When I do water changes I get mix water from the lfs. I check their water before putting it in and it isn't as high.

What kind of salt are you using? Anything else that you may be feeding that could cause the high reading?

How many times have you gotten water from them? have you measured the levels every time? It is possible that you have gotten a bad batch somwhere along the line that has elevated your numbers. There was a problem with IO a little while back that was causing elevated alk. I would try doing a few water changes on your own using distilled water and buying the salt on your own to see if the levels will come down with you in cointrol of what goes in the tank.
