Alkalinity?

This is the first time that I have tested for Alkalinity and Calcium and I think my KH level is too high. Anyway, here are the results:
Temp: 80 (having a difficult time keeping it lower since the temperature has gone up. might need to get a small fan)
Salinity: 1.025
pH: 8.2
Amm, Trites and Trates: 0ppm
dKH: 11.5
Calcium: 400ppm
For the pH, Amm, Trites and Trates I am using an API test kit and for Alk and Calc I am using Salifert. Assuming I tested accurately, what should I do to lower the Alk levels?
TIA

Well...no worries then. The kit said that 8 was normal so I just wanted to be certain. Thank you both for the assurance.

11.5 is fine, its better to keep it on the high end anyway. dKH between 8 - 12.
the reason i say on the higher side is because it will help keep your ph stable. your ph will not swing as much during the day if your alk is high. and keeping your cal between 400 and 450, as well.
