I recently bought a 37 square tank and I looked high and low and couldn't find a stand to hold 400 lbs of water & LR. So, the guys at Lowe's drew a plan out and I had the wood cut. I made several trips to Lowe's to get the wood squared away, learned to use a drill and found the ease of using a cordless sckrewdriver & drill!! Here's some pics!
Just painted it and waterproofed - sealed it. will post soon.
any suggestions on how to transfer fishes safely?????
1. I plan to move LR 1st,
2. move 1/4 - 1/2 water from 30 - to 37"
3. Move rest of water & Live sand --- test water levels 30 minutes after
3a. move thermometer, hang on back filter, protein skimmer, and power heads.
4. if water values are good, then temperature acclimate fishes
Is this okay?
