I noticed white ich on my purple Tang. Took him out and put in a hospital tank. Week later I notice most of my fish are scratching them selves on rocks. Took all fish and put them in 20g hospital tank. 2 yellow tangs, 2 dwarf angles, 1 watcheman, 1 cardinal, 1 blenny, and 1 clown. Treating them with copper (between 1.5 to 2 ppm using Mardel coppersafe ahd dry-tab test kit). Ich is gone after 10 days. Doing 5g water changes every 3 days. Adding iodine to water. Running air stone also. Some of the fish are eating but very little. One yellow tang this morning is laying on his side breathing very hard. Watchmen still has what looks like wounds from the ich on him. My clown now has a bulge on his lower back (looks like a pimple).

The rest of the fish are acting normal. I checked water with test kit (after water change) and every thing looks good. I dont want to put them back in my main tank in fear of getting ich again (I was told to wait at least 5 to 6 weeks). I have installed a UV in my main tank since this has happened. I did have a goby die about a month ago but I dont know why. Am I missing something or am I going to lose all of my fish before 30 days are over??? Please help.

I can only imagine what the water conditions are in the QT at this point.
You have not adequately treated the fish for ich at that copper level. Are you using compatible test kit?
What are the water readings in your QT?
What type tank do you have? FO, Reef? LR?
