All right you reef experts
Is that snail excrement or eggs. And is the dark green algae in second pic a keeper or not.?

Looks like excrement. The second one looks like regular turf algae but could be the dreaded cladophora.

I am hoping its not cladophora but just to be safe I will try to remove it only good thing if it is, cladophora is very slow growing. if it is turf algae it is eaten by herbivores or I will keep an eye on my Tang

Most Cladophora is longer as well, except for Cladophoropsis Sp. That is more in tightly knit bundles like that. All forms of Cladophora can just be ALL OVER a tank within 72 hours in well established (older) aquariums. It's usually 50/50 on how fast it grows.

Well what it is has become a mute point as you can see, for what ever reason there is bubble algae growing out of it so IT MUST GO
