A 125 is kinda small to add more than a couple of triggers. It would work short term, if they where all on the small side. For the long run you would need a very big tank to keep what you listed. Most triggers get more aggressive as they put on some size. The titan itself gets very large. I've seen them in the wild close to 2' long. They are one of the most aggressive, and if kept with others, I would say they would eventually kill them. When diving around the titans, I never venture to close to them, as they have been known to attack divers.

Mixing a queen, undulate, and titan plus other triggers would spell disaster shortly if you ask me. I doubt you would find a real titan without some hunting. Several species look quite similar and are often passed off as titans(pineapple, yellowface, and yellowmargin triggers). I think they are best left in the ocean due to their massive size. I kept a medium sized clown, humu humu, and niger together for a while and it worked short term. The clown was the aggressor often biting the other fish regularly at feeding and chasing them often. He did not usually leave any battle wounds, but when he did they would be small scratches.

well i would also watch out for the queen and undulate. they can get pretty rough as well. the nigers are pretty calm. the humma humma, black patch, and the blue throats are pretty cool and could probably work well together. hope this helps.

All trigger tanks are tough... You will probably need to add multiple fish at the same time which can make for an expensive meal and water quality issues. Keep us updated! :)

I have a 155 bow with several triggers. I have a clown, niger, huma and undulates. They also live with a Queen angel, damsel, flame angel, lemon peel, 2 cleaner wrasses, harlequin tusk, snow flake moray and powder blue.
All of the triggers were in my old 75 gallon. I have had them for over 5 years. The key is sizing. The udulates is the smallest and the Niger is the largest.
They all do get along pretty well. Some occasional chasing but not bad. Just keep them well fed.
I have pictures but they are to big to post. If anyone can resize them, let me know and I will email them to you.

I thinking keeping that many triggers together is too risky. I tried it and I added one bad Undulated that took them all out. In the wild triggers try to get as far away from one and other, I think that is a pretty good indication of the results of all trigger tanks.

Ed,
I do partialy agree with you. I have had mainly tirgger tanks for over 15 years and the only trigger I ever had to remove is the undualtus.
In my opinion, if the sizes are all mixed and you keep them well fed with PLENTY of hiding places, they can live peacefully together.
Anyone have a Queen angel and a French?
I have a Queen and wanted to get a French but I am concerned they will fight.

I have a clown, niger, picasso, half moon, blue face, blue line, recently a pinktail (died from popeye) and a filefish (had to remove hime as he was going after my lionfish) in my 270 and they are all quite happy together. I also have a harlequin tusk, lionfish, emperor, sailfin, damsels, and a snowflake. Just one big happy family. As much as I would love an Undulate as well, it's just not worth the risk. They're to unpredictable.

Sounds like a nice tank Canadiandude! Do you have any eye candy? If you don't mind, could you provide more about your setup and the order you introduced them?

The tank itself has an overflow and sump for filtration and I also have a fluval 404 on for a little extra water movement and filtration. Because it's a fish only tank I have about 150 pounds of base rock and fluorescent lighting. It's a pretty basic setup. The eel, sailfin, wrasses (I forgot about my lunar and yellowhead wrasse in my first post) niger, half moon, picasso, and pinktail were all in my 135 prior to upgrading to the 270. I moved them all over at the same time after cycling with some large dasels. I then added in order over a period of about 3 months the dogface, harlequin, clown trigger, emperor, spotted puffer, lionfish, and finally the last 2 were the blue face and blue line. The only real aggression in the tank is every now and again the niger takes after the picasso but can never catch him (the niger is about twice the size).
