alot of microbuble!!

Hi! I bought a octopus skimer 3 weeks ago and he produce alot of microbuble!! The skimer is a hang on skimer, the model is RS SH 100F octopus, i dont know if someone here has one of those? I need help!!

Maybe your skimmer is set too high? Is it producing any skimmate?

I bought 3 weeks ago!!And he as made microbuble since then!!He seem to work great he as been collecting crap alright!!!

how come they always says "at first they produce microbuble and after a while it's going to stop"" o.k so what's going to change,that going to stop microbuble

skimmers and most plumbing for that matter have a residue on them from factory production. the residue changes the surface tension of the water so the bubbles last longer and can get bigger. eventually that residue will ware away after break in and the bubbles will pop easier and more immediately.

I have the same skimmer and mine only made micro bubbles for about 1 week

I did a wet skim then adjusted the cup up higher

Do you mean put the colecting cup very low for a litle wile and after put it back up?
