I have a baby black volitan a yellow tang, clarkii clown, fire shrimp and I just added a cleaner shrimp. The cleaner keeps trying to clean the lion, and he just sizes him up. Right now both shrimp are as big as the lion. I'm thinking i'm not going to have a cleaner shrimp for long. Any comments?

Sorry Jester, the shrimp is an appetizer as soon as the Lion's mouth can accomodate him. The only shrimp that survived my Lion is a coral banded boy that was the first thing I added. He got territorial and aggressive and no one screws with him. My three cleaners (added at the same time as the Coral) disappeared one by one on a nightly basis when the lights went out.

Is there another tank you can put either the lionfish or the shrimp in? As said before, it's only a matter of time.......

not yet. I bought a big tank but I'm hoping to move in a few months. I thinking if I keep the lion happy....(we all know where this is going and all know it is wishfull thinking :) ).
The Lion doesn't even go near the Fireshrimp after the first encounter, maybee his pride is wounded and needs to save face. (Fireshrimp attacked him once and kicked his a#s!!)
Thanks for the opinions...it seems to be agreed that he won't last.
