Am I in danger?

I noticed today that the heater in my tank wasn't working, so I checked my temp, and it was down to about 65 degrees! Got my heater working again, but is anything in my tank in danger? Everything seems fine...but just want to be sure.

well you probably have a greater risk of that heater messing up again.

Actually, it was not the heater. I feel stupid to admit it, but recently, I switched from cc to ls. I simply forgot to plug the heater in!

Back in December I suffered a four day power outage and the tank temp dropped to at least below 65 (that's as far down as the thermometer went). I lost two fish, but one pulled through just fine. If everything in your tank survived, they'll probably recover without any real worries.

thats why the best is to have 2 small heaters in your sump. so it one fails you still got another one
