- Marineland Penguin 200
- 228 Powersweep
- 150wt heater
- thermometer
- Instant Ocean salt
- 3 20lb bags of bio active live aragonite
- bottled water (getting that soon)
- live rock (getting that soon)
- Amquil water conditioner
Ok so I am going to set everything up for 4 weeks, then put some corals or whatever in there for 2 weeks then add fish.
Is there any chemicals for the corals that I need to add?
Also, I have a reagular light that came with the tank. Its the long ones. What kind of bulb do I need or do I need to get one of those suspended light fixtures?

You need a hydrometer or refractometer, get bottled RO water not just any old water, you don't need the water conditioner, and you will need basic matinance supplies like algae scraper, buckets, hoses, spare powerhead and heater, and extra salt. As for your light you will propably need to upgrade it if you want corals.

Stand? Canopy? Lights? Powerheads? Add corals after you get a great light fixture and know that your water parameters are not going to fluctuate.

- Marineland Penguin 200---look at a 400
- 228 Powersweep----try #2 or #3 Hydor Koralia
- 150wt heater----ues 2 75wt if one stops working
- thermometer----get a Digital Thermometer love the one i have
- Instant Ocean salt--ok
- 3 20lb bags of bio active live aragonite---ues the sand not substrate
- bottled water (getting that soon)---ok for now but get ro/di sys it helps
- live rock (getting that soon)--- the most porous live rock you can
- Amquil water conditioner---do not need
Ok so I am going to set everything up for 4 weeks.--- no time like 4 weeks the time is set by the water lvls.
then put some corals or whatever in there for 2 weeks then add fish.---only after lvl go to (0)
Is there any chemicals for the corals that I need to add?---read up on all corals and fisk befor you add them big $ saver.
Also, I have a reagular light that came with the tank.---junk for a reef but ok for fist only.
What kind of bulb do I need or do I need to get one of those suspended light fixtures?---t5 are the best at this time low heat and will work good with a reef tank
Read more on all of this asking Questions and go slow.
you will save $ and time in the long run.

I don't see any test kits on your supply list, but they are a must-have. You need to measure ammonia levels as well as nitrate while your tank cycles. Forget about corals until the tank has become established, since conditions will vary continuously for a while. I think you are trying to learn before your make any serious (expensive) mistakes, but you only have part of the picture. Get a copy of "The Conscientious Aquarist ", available on this site. After you read that you will be ready to add water to your tank.

+1 on the test kit should have been first on your list. I can't say much more then what has already been said, but I do want to say something someone told me when I started my first tank...In this hobby of ours nothing good ever happens over night in the saltwater world. Good luck and most of all read, read and then read some more. And have fun with it. There is alot of information out there. Starting off on the wrong foot will keep your check book in your hand A LOT!!!!
