I currently have a 46 gal w/ 45 lbs of LR.... I only have 2 fish right now, perculas...
As for my CUC, i have 5 turbos, 2 scarlet hermits, 2 nass snails, a camelback shrimp, and an emerald crab.
I'm going to add more turbos and nass which i don't think will be a problem, but i also want to add a few more emeralds, is that okay??? i think mine (The Hulk) looks so cool and would love to get some more.
I also want to get a cleaner and blood fire shrimp soon...am i moving too fast??...i dont mind getting rid of my camel (if i can catch em) because i NEVER see him
I'm want to add the 2 shrimps and 1 or 2 crabs w/ a week or two...is that okay or should i wait longer?? I'll give algae sheets if i have too.

Should be fine. Just keep an eye on your water para. since inverts require a stable water quality.

Keep in mind that a CUC needs something to clean-up. With the small bio-load you're probably going to want to feed the tank extra so they have something to eat.

I would say be cautious with this, generally they recommend only one per so many gallons (can't remember amount for sure ~ but I think your under it). They are territorial and your Hulk will probably rip any new comers apart.

I'm not sure what you're talking about here Scopus...They recommend only 1 of what per gallon?? Emeralds?? from what i've read emeralds tend to be pretty peaceful, even w/ other emeralds, but i know it's not always the case. And as for mine...when my clowns go near "the hulk" he crawls back under the rock so i don't THINK i have to worry about him being agressive, except maybe towards hermits (oh well).
I think my quality is pretty good so i'm not too worried about that...I'll feed a little extra food if i have to not a big deal, and if it's recommended I'll get algae sheets like i said...
wouldd all 3 species of shrimp peacefullt coexist???
Thanks again

I think what he meant was there is a rule of thumb that says you should have 1 member of a CUC per 1 or 2 gallons of water.
emeralds should coexist peacefully but it's your snails you'll have to worry about, if the crabs get hungry the snails make for a very slow moving snack.

Sorry woody, I wasn't very clear; on emerald crabs they generally only recommend one per tank or one per 25 gallons. IME, they are territorial, especially when they get larger; and one that has already established the tank as "his" territory will attack and kill any newcomers. I've seen articles on how abundant they are on the reef in their natural habitat, but I've seen the territorial issue in my tanks. Just saying that if your existing crab is big and has already established the tank as "his" territory, he may kill any others you introduce. JMO

No problem.
I guess he is a little on the big size, but my tank is 46 gal...
I won't get more than 2, even though i was leaning towards eventually 3. I think i'll add one more, and take my chances. I know it's kind of hit or miss, but hopefully i'll get lucky. I wish i would have bought both at the same time though.
As for them eating hermits/snails...so far (2 days) no problems...
I don't really care about that anyways...I like the emerald way more.
And what about the shrimps?? no problems w/ 3 diff species in 46 gal??
I'll keep you posted on my results.

They're cool, I've seen them stand on top of the rock at night with their arms out (like the hulk) for hours. Don't know if its a territorial display or what, but its neat. Hope introducing a second is successful for you (introducing two more at once may or maynot reduce the aggressive reaction). Keep an eye on them, cause I've also seen them eat coralline algae right off the rock as well.
I've never seen emeralds kill or eat hermits or snails?
I'm not familiar enough with these three types of shrimps to advise you, although most types of shrimp will co-exist peacefully, hopefully someone else will reply.
